The mark

Our mark is a pixelated robot holding the masks of comedy and tragedy — representing the dual nature of theatre, and the single nature of robots.

Color

A palette built on darkness, gradient and one non-negotiable red.

Backstage Black#0B0A18 · PMS Black 6 C-ish

Our primary ground. The color of a blackout — and of what happens during one.

Synthetic Violet#8B5CF6 · PMS 2665 C

Innovation, imagination, and the default color of every AI startup — by choice.

Haze Cyan#22D3EE · PMS 306 C

Clarity — as seen through haze.

Evil Eye Red#FF1E3C · PMS "Do Not Ask"

For the eyes only. And the antenna. And the EVIL LED. And the chest button.

Matinee Gold#FFC23D · PMS 123 C

Comedy. Reserved for the happy mask.

Chrome Ambition#D4D5E6 · PMS Cool Gray 1 C

The robot's body. Brushed, never polished.

Gaffer Grey#8F91AB · PMS 7544 C

Holds everything together. Leaves residue.

The GradientViolet → Cyan, 95°

Apply generously. Then apply again.

Do & don't

The mark is sacred. The mark is watching.

DOUse the mark on Backstage Black, where it is most comfortable — and most powerful.
DON'TNever turn the eyes green. The eyes are always red. Do not ask why.
DON'TStretch, squash or otherwise reshape the robot. It remembers.
DON'TRemove the masks. The masks' eyes stay behind. They always stay behind.
DON'TAdd drop shadows, glows, rotation or hue shifts. (We tried. Legal got involved.)
DON'TMake it small enough to escape.
06

Voice & tone

How StageRobot sounds — confident, visionary and structurally committed to em-dashes.

  1. Every sentence deserves an em-dash — or three.Commas are for companies that make things. We make what comes next — and what comes next is a dash.
  2. It's not just a feature — it's a paradigm.Never describe a product as a thing. Describe it as a way of seeing the thing.
  3. Speak in threes. Always threes. Forever threes.Seamless, scalable, and theatrical. Innovation, integration, and intimidation. Pack, stream, and unpack.
  4. Never say what the product does when you can say what it enables.See: PVA. Do not see: what PVA does.
  5. Do not mention the robots. We don't make robots.
